and the Birth of Poké Sis
Welcome to Poké Sis, the newest member of the Poké family! Our journey began in 2015 when a group of friends discovered the delightful Hawaiian poke dish during a trip to California. Captivated by its fresh and healthy appeal, we knew we had to bring this unique cuisine to the Midwest.
In 2016, we opened the first Poké Bros location in Columbus, Ohio. Our mission was simple: to provide an accessible and affordable poke experience, offering high-quality, sushi-grade fish and farm-fresh vegetables in a customizable bowl format. The concept quickly gained popularity, leading to rapid expansion across the Midwest and East Coast.
Building on the success of Poké Bros, we are excited to introduce Poké Sis. This new sister company continues our tradition of serving fresh, delicious poke bowls while also bringing innovative new menu items to the table. With Poké Sis, we aim to offer even more variety and options to our loyal customers, all while maintaining our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

From its inception, we were confident that foodies would love the poké concept. Our goal was to provide an inexpensive and accessible product to a larger market. After extensive research and a lot of trial and error, the founders of PokeSIS, who started as Poke Bros, developed their unique brand of poké bowl flavors that we are proud to share and call our own. Inspired by similar assembly line casual dining concepts, we created a fun and unique way for you to build your own "sushi in a bowl."
